Dave retired as an Investigator after 21 years with the Rochester Police Department.  He most recently worked as a Federal Task Force Officer sponsored by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, but also spent time as a SWAT team member and an instructor at the Police Academy. Throughout his career in Law Enforcement, Dave developed communication, team work, and problem-solving skills along with a strong need to help people. 

 

His experience as an officer and working alongside various agencies, allowed him to gain extensive knowledge of the local, state, and federal retirement systems, including their deferred compensation plans. Constant interaction with his peers, who would often seek financial advice from Dave, combined with years of servicing our Rochester community led him to a career as a Financial Advisor.

 

Prior to retiring Dave obtained his New York State Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License.  He also earned his Series 7 & Series 66 licenses with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Originally from the downstate area, he attended and graduated from SUNY Geneseo and was a member of the Sigma Tau Psi fraternity. 

 

Dave and his wife, Erin, love to travel and spend time embracing what upstate New York has to offer.  This includes taking their two dogs to the local parks, pit stops throughout the Finger Lakes region, and working at her parents’ equestrian farm in Ithaca.
