About Chris

About

Chris is dedicated to giving her clients the focused, comprehensive, quality financial plans and investment management they expect and deserve.

Chris is a Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®).  With over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, Chris focuses her efforts on retirement income planning, risk management, portfolio development and estate planning.

The challenge of living sometimes 20-30 years in retirement and having to stretch your assets plus meet the uncertainty of medical expenses in your retirement years can be a daunting task for people who are not in this industry.  Let’s face it; it can be daunting for people in this industry as well.  But armed with the facts and knowing the rules and regulations that surround a sound financial plan for retirement can help you avoid tax traps, penalties and unnecessary expenses.

With some forethought and planning and working with someone who knows where those pitfalls can be you can retire safely and comfortably and be better prepared to stay comfortably retired.

When she’s not working with her Sage Rutty clients, Chris spends time volunteering for Lifespan’s Financial Management Assistance program.  Lifespan provides information; guidance and services that help older adults take on both the challenges and the opportunities of longer life. Chris provides in-home assistance with budgeting, bill paying and day-to-day financial matters that become a burden for some older adults.

She also serves as a member of the Auxiliary Board at Monroe Community Hospital.  MCH provides care for individuals with unique medical needs, and have specialty nursing units.  The mission of the MCH Auxiliary is to promote and advance the well-being and quality of life of the residents.

Chris was raised in the military – her father was a career officer in the United States Air Force.  Now she is proud of her two sons who also serve.  Matt is a United States Marine and Dave is currently serving in the United States Air Force.

She is licensed with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the New York State Insurance Department.
